Dessers Joins Rangers, To Help Them Challenge Celtic
July 07, (THEWILL) – Cyriel Dessers has officially joined Rangers, the Scottish Premiership side, after completing a move from Italian club, Cremonese.
The Nigerian international, who scored 10 goals last season including six in Serie A, was a key target for manager, Michael Beale. This signing marks Rangers’ sixth acquisition of the summer transfer window, as they aim to challenge their fierce rivals, Celtic, for the top spot in the league. Dessers has signed a four-year contract with the club and brings a wealth of experience from his previous spells in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Italy.
