Nigerian Chef Adeola Adeyeye Completes 150-Hour Cook-A-Thon

July 07, (THEWILL) – Adeola Adeyeye, an Ondo State based-chef, has completed her 150 hours cook-a-thon, in an attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking hours set by Hilda Baci.

The marathon cooking event, tagged ‘Deocookathon’, commenced on the 30th of June, at the TMF Lounge and Bar in Ile Oluji, Ondo State.

Celebrating her laudable feat, she took to her Instagram to disclose her readiness to push further even after reaching her initial target.

She posted a graphic design of her cooking marathon with the inscription “150 hours and still counting”, and gushed over her achievement.

“The journey was rough, but we pulled through”, she wrote.

Prominent Nigerians supported Adeyeye and visited her while the cook-a-thon was going on.

The Ondo State Commissioner for Finance, Mr Wale Akinterinwa, popularly known as ‘Wale Ajangamoo’, the member of the Federal House of Representatives, Hon. Festus Adefiranye, representing Ile-Oluji/Okeigbo and Odigbo Federal Constituency, and the member of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Hon. Nelson Akinsuroju, representing Ile-Oluji/Okeigbo State Constituency, were among those who who visited the chef.
