Nottingham target Kelechi Iheanacho faces decision on proposed move to City Ground

According to transfer insider Dean Jones, Nottingham Forest target Kelechi Iheanacho is facing a crucial decision regarding a potential move to the City Ground.

After experiencing relegation with Leicester City last season, Iheanacho is being linked to a return to the Premier League, with Forest showing the most interest.

Forest, who secured their Premier League status last season, are now focused on avoiding “second-season syndrome” and staying clear of relegation.

While their transfer business has mainly focused on departures, they are eager to bring Iheanacho to the club.

Talks have reportedly already taken place between the two clubs, and Iheanacho must now decide whether he wants to remain in the Championship with Leicester or challenge himself in the top tier with Forest.

Jones believes that Forest would be willing to pay what it takes to secure his services if he chooses to join them.

Forest’s season begins on August 12th with an away match against Arsenal.
