Tinubu Forces APC National Chairman Adamu To Resign
July 16, (THEWILL) – The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Abdullahi Adamu, is said to have been forced by President Bola Tinubu to resign from office.
According to WesternPost, an Online media platform, owned by Senior Special Assistant on Media to President Bola Tinubu, Mr Tunde Rahman, Adamu resigned to save himself from being removed from office.
However, THEWILL has not been able to independently confirm Adamu’s resignation.

Multiple Party sources contacted by THEWILL refused to confirm the development.
Several calls put to the APC National Publicity Secretary, Barrister Felix Morka, were not answered.
WesternPost, however, said a source, who was privy to the details of the resignation, but did not want his name mentioned, said Adamu was forced out over many issues which included his non-support for President Bola Tinubu.
THEWILL recalls that President Tinubu and Adamu have been on different pages overtime.
Adamu openly supported former Senate President, Senator Ahmad Lawan, in the APC Presidential primary and has recently openly criticised the appointment of National Assembly Principal Officers announced by the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio and the Speaker, House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Abass, saying the list did not get approval from the party.
