US City Houston Declares July 7 Davido Day Shade Wesley-Metibogun

July 08, (THEWILL) – The Mayor of Houston, Sylvester Turner, has honoured David Adeleke, professionally known as Davido, by setting aside July 7th and declaring it Davido’s Day in Houston, Texas, United States.
This development is contained in a letter signed by Turner, which surfaced online on Saturday.
The Afrobeat singer, who is currently on tour for his new album, shut down the city of Texas, as he performed at the Toyota Centre, in Houston, on Friday, 7th July.
Following the sold-out show, Turner commended the singer for his significant contribution to the music industry and dedicated July 7, as his day in Houston.
