A video has surfaced online showing former President Muhammadu Buhari taking a leisurely walk in his hometown of Daura.
The video, posted on Twitter by his former media aide Bashir Ahmad, shows Buhari walking along the streets of Daura accompanied by two operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS).
He can be seen greeting residents and exchanging pleasantries with children. Buhari had recently returned to Nigeria after a vacation trip to London.
The video portrays a leader who is at peace with his people and connected to his community.
